Under Construction

We finally got all the furniture put together for Cooper's Room, it is coming along pretty good. The letters were fun, we got white ones from a store and then painted them a "stone" color. The spray paint actually came out with a texture in it, it was pretty cool. I tried to get a pic that showed a letter up close. Sherri's friend Elizabeth helped us out too...she made the awesome mobile that is hanging on the crib! It totally matches our decor to a T. She rocks!

Pregnancy Really Changes a Girl!

Well, we have finally reached the infamous Third Trimester! Sherri is doing great and has gained about 20 lbs. so far in 28 weeks. Here are some pics of her and Cooper's progress. We also made a recent discovery...Cooper likes brownies! I made a pan of brownies the other night and after Sherri ate some, Cooper started kicking up a storm. He did the same thing last night! Note to self:No Brownies for Cooper before bedtime once he gets here! We are also making some more progress on the baby room. We hung up some camo "duck blind" material behind the crib. His room is starting to look like a wildlife reserve!

Here is the camo background. We also hung some white christmas lights up behind the camo wall so that at night we can have some "twinkling stars" behind the "woods". I just hope that once we put Cooper to bed that we'll be able to find him!

Getting Ready For Arrival

Here are some pics that Sherri and I took when we got the bedding in a few weeks ago. I am just now trying to figure out this blogging stuff so bear with me! We got the bedding from Cabella's and it looks pretty cool for Cooper's "new" room. Who would think that Mossy Oak could look so warm and inviting! I am a pretty big fan of the stuffed animal bear rug on the floor too! More pics to come in the next few days or so.
