36 Weeks and Counting!

Well, the weeks are just going by faster and faster, and it seems like we'll be to November 16 before we know it! We are 36 weeks now and Cooper just continues to get bigger. I put up a pic from earlier in the pregnancy and one from this past weekend...a little bit of a change huh! We go to the doc this thursday for the 36 wk checkup and also get to have another sonogram at the imaging center. It will be fun to see how big Cooper really is. Sherri is being a trooper through these final weeks. Cooper is big enough now that he can really move her belly out when he stretches. She is getting a little less comfortable everyday but we know there is an end in sight. This past weekend was fun...Paul,Arica, and Elle Denson made the trip to Midlothian to hang out. It was great getting some more practice with a little person before our little person arrives! Elle is doing great and is 5 months old now. She had a fun weekend too, and got to test-drive some of Cooper's new digs. Elle also brought Cooper some fun new stuff for his pending arrival...Thanks so much to Elle and P&A!

We've got our Halloween decorations up and ready!

Here she is at 36 weeks pregnant!

And here she is at 20 weeks (I think!)
Man, that sun is so bright! C'mon Paul take the picture!
Sherri looks like a natural doesn't she!
Paul and Arica with our baby momma
Elle Grace Denson is seen here sporting her Texas Longhorn shirt and a big 'ol smile! I think she likes sitting in Cooper's Bumbo chair before he gets to!
Elle was just excited to try out all of Cooper's things! He's not even out of the belly yet and he has a girl sleeping in his crib....gonna have to watch out for that Denson girl!
We are sure that Cooper and Elle will be friends...she already has such good taste in beer!

Baby Showers, Cowboys, and Golfing

Well, we are now in to our 34th week of pregnancy! Only six more to go says the spinning baby to our left! Sherri is doing good. She has the usual occurances of the third trimester...she has been sleeping less and less and is just overall uncomfortable trying to sleep. Mix in a little heartburn and having a rambunctious (is that right?) child inside her that has recently decided that it is fun to kick mom in the ribs, and she is having a great time! We are now starting to go to the doctor every two weeks to check on Cooper's progress. At our last visit (32 weeks) the doctor estimated that Cooper was about 4.5 lbs, which would put him at two weeks farther along according to his size and the doctor's guess. So we'll see if he is going to be a big boy or might decide to come early, which is what Sherri thinks is going to happen. The pics are of our latest Baby Shower at Granny's house (Thanks Gran!), some UTA Alumni Golf, updated pic of the baby room, and some others that I can't remember right now! Enjoy!

Here is Dr. Day and myself at the Cowboys/Bengals game this past Sunday. We had a great time tailgating with our gracious host Dr. Barbre.

Always hard at work doing our Home Depot projects!

We decided to put up some "roller shades" to keep some sun out of little Cooper's eyes when he gets here.

Check out Cooper's cool decorations! I love the big buck! And its always nice to have a pheasant feather wreath (wow, say that fast!).
Here I am at the UTA Alumni Baseball game having some post-game BBQ. It was fun to see everyone and play some ball again!
Here is our Alumni golf team standing proud after we EAGLED our first of four holes that day!
