Painting....Before and AFTER!!!

We finally did it! After looking at our last painting attempt in our bathroom for a year now, we finally got sick enough of looking at it to repaint! I'm not sure what we were thinking when we picked the colors or pattern out...but...the room looked like something that should have been on a CSI show looking for spatter! Needless to say, it turned out a little different than we had hoped for, and we just didn't have the energy to redo. But now we repainted with Cooper's help (just kidding!) and we love it! The color is "Carmelized" and we think it looks pretty darn cool! Cooper came in for a few quick pics too! Oh and by the way, Cooper slept for 6 1/2 hours last night in his crib and just keeps sleeping a little longer every night!...We are so happy to be getting a little sleep! Talk to ya'll later!

All I can say is "Oh My!"
Very...uh...bright! and RED!

We had just got back from Napa Valley and were in the wine mood. The darker red color is "merlot", although all I can think is "blood red!"

There's that left hand again!

So sleepy!

Thanks for the help Coop!

This After photo looks a touch better huh!

Mom and Cooper doing some detail work!

So much better!

2 Month Shots, Baptism, and lots of smiles!

It has been a few weeks since the last post and so much has happened! We took Cooper in for his 2 month shots on the 22nd of Jan, and he was quite the trooper. He let out just a little wale...er...ear-piercing scream afterward to let us know what he thought about that! I guess he didn't like the 1-inch needle in his leg! I know I wouldn't! We did find out though that he was a whopping 12lbs 7oz and 23.5 inches long, which placed him in the 75th percentile of little guys/gals his age. And we made it through the shots with the help of the miracle drug...Tylenol, which worked wonders for Cooper. The weekend following his shots we made a trip to St. Joseph's for Cooper's Baptism! It went great and we had a great weekend with everyone that came down for it. Cooper's godparents Scott and Brenda made it down which made it extra special, as did having his great-grandparents there too! After the Baptism weekend my parents (Grandma and Grandpa Herrman) came down the following weekend as well to spend some more time with their grandson. That allowed Sherri and I to have a baby-sitter for Colby's 21st birthday celebration this past weekend at Southern Junction. We got to go and do some boot-scootin and Cooper got some quality time with the grandparents. Well, here are the pics, enjoy!
